Robert P. Wagoner Pictures: |
Pictures from LaVergne Wagoner (Widow):
Three pictures of T/Sgt. Robert (Bob) P. Wagoner were received from his widow, LaVergne, in June 2010. LaVergne met Bob in Great Bend, KS in 1943 when he was stationed for training. They fell in love and moved to Utah and then Clovis, NM in October 1943 as he continued his training as a B-24 Engineer with the newly formed Coleman crew. They were married on October 3, 1943. After they were married they moved to Bob's next base in Pueblo, CO before Bob the Coleman crew departed for the Pacific in February 1944. Bob had turned 24 years old on June 9, 1944 a few weeks before his loss on June 25, 1944.
